A year-old man was found guilty of manslaughter. A postmortem gave the cause of death as a stab wound to the heart. Twelve men were arrested during the investigation; one was tried for murder, but acquitted. Harjinder Singh Bhurji Clayhall, 13 September Harjinder Singh Bhurji, 32, was stabbed to death in Clayhall by a masked robber as he sat chatting with a female friend in his car.

The attacker first dragged the woman out of the car before demanding the car keys. Bhurji was stabbed in the chest after he tried to hide the keys under his seat. His attacker then took the keys and drove off. Five men were arrested; two remain on bail. No one has been charged with the murder. Sashana Roberts Cricklewood, 12 September Sashana Roberts, 24, was stabbed to death at her family home in Cricklewood. Her body was found in the bath and a postmortem gave the cause of death as multiple stab wounds.

Her former partner, a year-old man, was convicted of her murder. Jonathan Barnes Croydon, 23 August Jonathan Barnes, 20, died two days after being shot in the head during a bungled robbery in Addiscombe, Croydon. Barnes and another man tried to rob a man of fake Rolex watches at his home, but during the robbery a fight ensued and Barnes was shot by his accomplice.
